This post is about a wedding ceremony that turned into one heck of a party.
We met Brian and Meredith at Lamplighter coffee shop in Richmond, VA. We were sipping coffee and we asked them what their vision was for their special day, they said "Happy. We want the whole thing to be relaxed and full of laughter". We were so glad to hear those words and we were excited to be a part of it.
The day of the wedding, Brian wouldn't take his eyes off of Meredith, he was simply enjoying watching her celebrate and be herself. She wore a beautiful lace dress made by her cousin in Poland and she was holding sunflowers as her bouquet. Their wedding party was small, just their closest family members. It was so moving to see how they included their family in such special ways, they kept everything as intimate as possible, yet there were about 150 people that day. They didn't want to leave anyone out of the celebration.
One of our favorite parts of the wedding was when Meredith's grandpa gave his speech, "Allison..." he said, (Allison is Meredith's sister) and we all burst into laughter, including him. There was a relaxed, loving and fun vibe that day. M & B showed their gratitude to everyone who helped put that day together by mentioning us by name and thanking for what we were doing. We learned something about appreciation that day.
The highlight of that day: They told us they had eloped weeks before.
Congratulations, best wishes and lots of love to our new friends, Meredith and Brian.
